corn jar questions

okay im doing 3 corn jars. Mycelium started and after 5 days i shooked them. a couple days later i checked on them and more mycelium grew. then last night i checked on them and they didnt look like they were fluffy anymore kinda looks like as if it dried on the corn and i notice the temps went up to like 86 or 88 degrees because i cooked a pizza in the oven and the jars were on top of a microwave by the oven.. 1. do you think i cooked them? 2. or do i have a chance if i let them recoupe for a couple days? 3. how long until i see some kind of sign there good still?

i will have pics tonight when im home from work .. but for now if the mycelium doesnt look fluffy no more kinda looks like if you ever brush your teeth and after u spit the paste out with water and it kinda dries in the sink that is what it reminds me of..

does anyone know what dead mycelium or dried out mycelium looks like?
