Question about previously read threads.
    #4521005 - 08/11/05 03:52 AM (11 years, 11 months ago)

I'm not quite sure how to explain this, but I'll do my best. When you refresh your browser, it used to stop showing ALL the new posts, and would only show the new posts in the threads you previously read. It stopped doing that so I have to literally look through the list of threads and weed out the ones I have been reading since they all say there are new posts. How can I change this to make it go back how it was? I've tried a few things and nothing has worked as of yet.

Thanks. I'll try that. I hope it works.

Unfortunately, it didn't. All the new posts on threads I'm not reading, stay as 'new' after I refresh. Thanks for your help though.

I'm going to shout out and say I have struggles with this as well.  Shit does not stay highlighted "as new/unread."  It gets tossed down and whenver someone in OTD posts, "Gayboi" in another thread, then it's suddenly highlighted.  Until I refresh the window.  Then they'd need to post, "Gayboi: II Unleashed" for the same effect.  Mayhap move this to WA&F.  I'm getting a little annoyed with this glitch, thizo.

It's a pain having to weed through everything that says 'new posts' are made just to find the one or two that I'm reading.

That's a good idea to move this to WA&F. Anyone here that can do that for me? Much appreciated.

This might be a stupid question, but are you sure your browser is accepting all cookies from this site?

I don't see why it wouldn't, because it did before. It just started doing this two days ago.

So it's not a problem on my side. It was driving me nuts thinking it was something I did. Hopefully they can get it fixed.

Yeah, I use IE. I was using Firefox before but it still did it.
