I have a pan of S.AM.s incubating at 84f. I have read several teks, and cant decide if the casing is ready to throw in the fruiting chamber. There is mycillium poking through at about ten spots each the sizeof an eraser. Some teks say patch those spots and put it in right away, and others say I should wait until it is completely covered in myc before i introduce fruiting conditions. BTW, i cased BRF cakes with 50/50+. Please help, and if anyone knows a tek that they swear by, let me know. This is m first time so i dont have any background. THANKS

I swear by the 50/50+ casing tek. What I do is place the substrate back into incubating temps following casing and wait for 5 days. After that I fruit. I don't patch or mist. Just go straight into fruiting after the 5 days.
I only use the Double/Single Tub teks though, so your results may vary with other techniques.

You sound fine to fruit it. To many variable to give an exact number, or amount of myc showing through.

when you put it in the FC there should be no myc showing. If you incubated and have some myc poking out, patch it lightly and then stick it in the fruiting chamber.
read this awesome post by hyphae. It totally helped me out, i just finished harvesting my first casing and i pulled 250 wet gms off of it. If you follow what he says you should be just fine.
