"If only there were evil people out there insidiously committing evil deeds and it was only necessary to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being, and who among us is willing to destroy a piece of their own heart?" Aleksandar Solzhenitsyn

Nice Quote,
I say, integrate the bad into the good and turn it into good as it comes along.
I say, shine light onto the darkness and make it light as it comes along.
I say, love where you see hate and turn it into love when it comes along.
Be the alchemist.
This is the process of fulfilling the void of the self and the cosmos for self realization.
It's like taking nothing, the negative, and making something of it, the positive, like with camera film. The negatives end up in the trash and we keep the photos.

Being human involves a full spectrum of qualities. Most important IMO is to acknowledge this and accept it. I see the world at war, personally and globally, blaming the other side for sins we commit ourselves and cannot acknowledge. It runs very deep, and is a torrent and a trickle.

if people could see this in themselves and others, what a wondrous thing that would be. there is good in every evil and evil in every good. we could stop fighting each other and focus our efforts on higher things.

Awesome quote, Ice. It goes to the very heart and into the depths of our problems in this world.
We have many of our fellow human beings running around desperately trying to convert their fellow human beings to their version of truth. Their is a spectrum of behavior in this realm ranging from those who seek to convert you over a glass of red wine to those who wish to convert you over a bed of red hot coals.
Personally, I prefer the former.
