what's taking so long?
    #4518987 - 08/10/05 06:52 PM (11 years, 3 months ago)

I birthed these cakes about a week ago, and so far, I don't see any sign of pins. Is there something wrong with them, or do I just have to be more patient?

If your RH is 95-100% and temps are roughly 72-76, you should see pinning and fruiting in 7-14 days. I've even had them pin at higher temps. Most strains I've grown pin within a week. Some have taken longer than a week, closer to two weeks. Misting may help, too. "Be patient" is good advice you'll get here often.

The mushrooms of course. Be patient.
