I have no clue. I don't even know if the ribbons are charitable. But even if there is someone making a buck on them that doesn't take away what they mean to people.

Yea it is. You aren't support fuck all with a big stupid bumper sticker. I'll bet most of those people with the stickers don't give the troops another thought after they slap that fucker on their SUV. They probably sleep like babies knowing they've done their part.

Why would someone making money on the ribbons add anything to the symbolic representation of supporting our troops?
Oh, and rawr.

I can slap a "Feed the hungry" sticker on my car, or a "support our troops" or whatever the fuck I want, but if I don't do shit to help it doesn't mean anything.
Though the lazy more intellectually sedated individuals such as yourself may sleep better at night after a $1 purchase at your local Wal-Mart, most sentiment beings prefer to actually take steps in a direction to help.

Or not kid themselves about doing nothing for the troops or the war and not following suite by way of retarded bumper stickers.

What gives you the idea that its meant to help anything? Here is some insight, a lot of troops have family, friends, and neighbors that care about their well-being over there and by showing they care.

Ok spud, that was pretty stupid and not funny. It would help if it made sense. How about you tell us about what steps you are taking in whatever direction you are spouting.

I do missionary work through Calvary chapel every two months. I also make donations towards the Natural Disaster Relief Fund through the Red Cross.

I'm sure the families of those in war would rather make a helpful charitable donation rather than buy a piece of magnetic crap.

Awesome, good for you. I don't know how this relates to support our troop stickers, but whatever.

Maybe they do? Again that doesn't take away from showing moral support. Homefront morale is a huge and plays directly into the outcome of many wars, and yes the soldiers are aware of it.
