Best way to heat terr.?

I was wondering what everyone's preference is on heating the terr. I am using a 10 gallon Rubbermaid container with perlite in the bottom.

I use a 50watt plant grow light on a timer to heat and provide light. It took a lot of playing around to figure out how long to leave it on for what temperature I wanted but I got it down pretty good now. You could also use an aquarium heater in a jar or use a heating pad.

I use a fish tank heater in a mason jar......... seems to work out fine. I would advise however to give like about 4"'s or so distance from the jar, as the shrooms that grew to close to it got all dry and hard........ g'luck!!! oh and a 50watt fishtank heater for a 30 gallon container worx great keeps it a nice 75-78 degrees.......... happy fruiting!!!!

I recently got a 50W heater. Very cheap ($15) and works great. I am using it for a incubator, however, and it keeps my jars at a good 86 degrees.

i just put a electric blanket covering all the terrarium crank it up on high not as good as a heating pad i bet but hasnt failed me

Thanks for the info. I have a fishtank heater put through the side of a tupperware container filled with water. I am using it in my incubation chamber right now and it works great. I was just wondering if it only stayed warm because of the water cooler, but as I see it works even in a 30 gallon, and I only have a 10 gallon. Thanks for everyone's response.
