There isn't a lot of information on the ingestion of mycelium around here, so this might help some people that are interested.
The other night my friend and I heated two 100% colonized wbs cakes in a pot. The water was kept right on the verge of boiling, and was stirred frequently. It was cooked like this for 40 minutes, and the water was then strained out.
Hot chocolate mix was added to the water, and it was consumed.
No effects were noticed from either of us. This is possible due to the high heat, but I don't think that's it. Mycelium just doesn't contain much psilocin/psilocybin?
Break it down to chunks 'bout the size of marbles/sugar cubes and boil for'bout 10-15 minutes. One cakes worth should have 'bout 1 1/2-2 cups water. Takes 'bout a quart of juice and u will have respect for myc. tea.
