i can't get a drip sheet thing in because of the way i have my set up.....what happens if they get water dripped on them....will this infect them?????...i am a nweb so excuse the stupidity...i have read a ton and this is the only thing that i can't find an answer too..so far at least

the drip shield is to deflect drops from the chamber lid from falling on the shrooms. If you don't mist the lid, and don't have condensation all over the lid, you'll be fine with out one. Just mist the walls to add humidity and you shouldn't have to worry about drips.

well, a "dripshield" is oldschool. It really isn't used anymore.

You may be reading the original PF TEK.

You shouldn't have a problem of water dripping from the top of your terrarium. it isn't good if large drops of water hit your mushies, but as long as yer terrarium "roof" is tall enough, condensation shouldn't build up on it too much.

I've only seen that problem when I was using a very small terrarium.

just take the lid off when you are misting and you should be fine.
