Much is often made of beliefs on this forum, but many people don't get what the word means. Here is a definition.

Mental acceptance of and conviction in the truth, actuality, or validity of something.

Even if you say you are a skeptic you are still subject to accepting non-provable and scientifically incredible information.

"A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

This is a rather vague post describing the many people who make much of beliefs on this forum but don't understand the meaning of the word.

OK, now we have a rather vague definition that is supposed to clear up all of the confusion for the confused many.

How this ties in with a skeptic being "subject to accepting non-provable and scientifically incredible information" seems unclear as well.

I'm so confused...

Anxiety is what you make it.
