I think you mean harvesting shrooms grown on BRF cakes .... just read the teks ... Clean your hands well , pick them (ull be suprised how easily and cleanly they will come off, its impossible to discribe just do it) and put then on a fan for 12-24 hours and then put them in a desiccant chamber .... anything you dont understand either do a search on shroomerys webpage or on shroomerys forum

Gently cut off the mushrooms at the base with a sharp knife.  The stump left behind won't rot.  It's 100% mycelium.

i think the best way to describe it is its like picking a mushroom in the wild. At least thats how it felt to me when i harvested.

LOL, no, just twist it one way and give it a slight tug, if it sticks, twist the other way and give it a slight tug, it should come right off clean.

Don't ever use scissors....the guy at your work probably thought, or maybe thought, you were talking about picking wild mushies.

people don't pull those completely out (in the wild) to insure growth in that "patch" for years to come.

leaving sections of mushrooms on cakes will rot and cause contam. GL TO YA!
