Has anybody bought a presure cooker of Ebay? What should I look for when buying a PC from Ebay?

I bought an old presto, I think it is a 16 quart one, on there. I had to get a new seal after about a year, but that was no problem at the local hardware store.

It works great! Holds 6 quart jars or 7 pints. It was one of the harvest yellow ones from the 70's you may have seen pictures of around here.

Shipping prices are somewhat of a factor when comparing pc's on ebay also.

Thats true.

Shipping might be quite high due to the weight.

I have bought 2 pressure cookers off Ebay.

My 1st one was a AA910 and it was a good starter pc...
I still use it today for smaller items.

Then I bought a band new AA930 after I was really hooked on mycology.

I couldn't use a larger pc than the AA930...cause the hood that is over the top of my stove sits too low.

When buying a pressure cooker off Ebay...you need to know how much they are worth.
Watch them like a hawk until you can snipe one for a good price.

If you want a new one...contact the person that sells the new one's and try and make a deal with them.
I bought my AA930 brand new for $200.00 including shipping...that was a great deal.
I'm sure you could do the same.

I recently bought an ALL-AMERICAN pressure cooker (Model 910) from eBay. I bid on 3, before finally being the high bidder at a reasonable price. SNIPPING is key.
