Cakes dry, but saveable?
    #4501364 - 08/05/05 07:31 PM (18 years, 8 months ago)

My cakes dried out due to a really hot summer and low humidity in the chamber. They refuse to grow any more, period. I was browsing the casing section of the site and noticed one individual who puts the cakes under water and then shreds up the cake before mixing it with the casing material. So my question is, could I put water in my cakes, or is it too late?

Yep.

I'd say dunk them.
