re-use man.
I have problems with jars breaking after I have reused them over and over, they are pretty sturdy though.

yeah, man- I've even used one layer of tin foil for a lid (just poke the syringe through to inoculate), then cover with another layer of foil before putting 'em in the pressure cooker.
