I cut mine in 1" increments. Cling Wrap is the best choice IME, plates will breath and thats why parafilm was created in the first place :wink: I've also used ziplocks to protect and hold in moisture with great results and for me is the easiest.

Does anybody know if pressnseal breathes like glad wrap? Not necessarily for agar plates, just curoius and ya'll seem to know your plastics.

Heres an idea......Get that new glad press and seal saran wrap and cut some square peices.....I havent tried it but from the commercials it looks like a good product.

Ok so if the plate wrap is gas permiable, aren't u supposed to leave the plates in a sterile environment like a flow hood or clean cab?

zip lock baggies work well with the peroxide method,all work done in the old glove box of course.
