Psuedo-Celebrity Run Ins
    #4488854 - 08/03/05 10:00 AM (11 years, 6 months ago)

I was walking into the grocery store last night and saw rick the temp (a lame ass much music video dj - think carson daily). That guy is such a tool. I didn't even notice it was him until after I walked by him. He looked over at me with a smug grin like I was supposed to recognize him and ask for his autograph and suck his dick. He was walking like 20 feet in front of his nagging wife/gf (I assume) who was holding a kid, going "riiiiiiick, riiiiiiiiicky". haha.

Awhile back I ran into Jimmy from Breaker High in Steve's Music downtown. I've also walked by Scott Thompson from Kids In The Hall, down near the CBC building. What about everyone else, what psuedo celebrities have you run into?

oh yea I saw Bill Wylichka at the CNE a few years back, me and my friend were making fun of him because hes too old to work for much music so he had to goto much more music. I also walked by George Strombolobolpobpoloplus at warped tour a few years back and heckled him about how much The Punk Show sucks ass.

hahah nice one. One time my friend and I were walking by Much Music and there was a crowd gathered outside getting Georges autograph, my friend (who is a little on the tubby side) walked by and pulled up his shirt and yelled "GEORGE, SIGN MY TITS!" he did the same thing, just looked and laughed.

We also walked by the Buzz crew while they were doing a street interview and kept flipping off the camera, walking back and forth all casually. Man I hate that show.

I saw Chuck Norris at the Tex Mot Spdwy. He was all pissed off and hiding behind his wife acting like a mob of people were gonna come get his autograph or somethin. Everyone just stood there and went "oh chuck norris" maybe they would've mobbed him about 15 or 20 years ago... biggest thing he's had lately is the 5 second punchline lever action on Conan. (funny shity acting)

The Indy 500 was definitely amazing then and there, compared to on TV.

I wonder if that means since golf is so boring on TV that it would be exciting IRL? The US Senior Open was in my city a few days ago; I could've met many pseudo-celebrities there, but nay.

Golf is only fun to play IMO. Baseball is the same way, fun to watch in real life, boring on TV.

That's pretty cool.  I love that guy.

I've met a whole bunch of "world famous" () DJ's like Dieselboy, Mistress Barbara, and Rob Gee.

I also saw Cynthia Nixon (the redhead from 'Sex and the City') at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

I have this big plan for when I see a real huge 'A list' celeb:  I'm going to pick their worst movie ever, and claim to only recognize them from that movie.

Example:  If I ever see Tom Hanks somewhere, I'm going to walk up to him and say, "HEY, you're that guy from 'Joe vs. The Volcano'!!!  Man, you were great in that."  And then casually walk away.

I saw Naima, who won America's Next Top Model this last time around. She was pretty fuckin gorgeous.

I would love to run into a reality TV star.  Just to fuck with them.

P.S.  I never read sig quotes, but I just read yours.  When Kevin Spacy spoke them, those lines were the closest I've ever come to crying because of a movie.  :crying:  Good choice.
