God...

The only thing i really have to say in this post is that god is nothing more than a placebo, not some supreme being with a plan for everyone.

Not that I disagree, but how do you know this?

It is really just a thought. I just noticed the similarities between placebos and god. People are givien placebos to "medicate" them and all that the placebo does is make them think that they are being helped when they are really helping them selves. Well, people turn to god for help or guidence and, the way I see it, their mind does all the helping.

then how come I don't know how you look like, and what goes on in every inch of the universe? I do not know everything, am not everywhere, my consciousness is so small and fragile. I certainly am not god.

I think you are taking my sarcasm a bit to seriously, and no although the Buddha reached enlightenment I don't think he knew everything about you.

if your definition of god includes knowing everthing then true but if your definition of god is that of a creator then humans do fit the description.
