Is this myc or am I screwed?

Like the title states, I'm wondering if this is mycelium growth or if its a contaminant. Its day four of incubation and I found this at the bottom of 2 out of 3 of my perlite/moss/BRF jars.
The third jar I'm pretty sure got waterlogged after boiling and doesn't show any growth besides the weird growth I saw two days into incubation:
I posted that picture here earlier and it was the general consensus that it was probably water rot.

Not too sure if that is a contam or not, it looks pretty white. Perlite is definitely not a good choice at all for a substrate. Try BRF/verm next time and you will definitely see better results. Unlike perlite vermiculite holds tons of water which the colony needs.

altho i do wonder why your using perlite , moss and brf thats a horrible substrate highly prone to contam , i would advice you rethink your method and go with the PF tek Vermiculite and BRF , will work alot better and less chance of contam

OMG yay.
No worries about the substrate. I couldn't find any verm, so I decided to go ahead and make 3 jars out of perlite/sphagnum peat moss/BRF.
However, I saved the rest of the jars for when I could find some verm, and luckily enough I did.
What is striking me as odd is that the myc is congregating around the bottom of the jars - is this normal? Perhaps thats where the end of the syringe was and thats why the first growth appears there?
I really hope these jars can make it to casing. What would you recommend I do now to the jars? Just leave them be, or perhaps intervene early and prevent them from going sour later?

That myc looks good, but your substrate looks a little wet... next time you mix a batch, try reducing the water by 10% or so and see if the cakes colonise any faster... that second jar looks way way too wet, to the point where the myc won't colonize at all...

Yeah, I guess some water got into that second jar when I was boiling it. I found another jar that had excess water in it from my second batch - the verm/brf one. This one made more sense because the lid was dented and kept ripping the alum foil when I would screw it on. I put more foil over it to cover it, but I guess it didn't work. All I needed to do was pick it up to realize that it weighed A LOT more than the other jars. I dumped the substrate out right now, gonna get started on the third and final batch of jars tonight. Thanks for the help guys - much appreciated.

if its growing mainly at the bottom its prolly where you put most of the spore solution take that jar right now , and shake the hell outta it it should grow all over after that and be done in bout 7 days
