Weird S Video problem
    #4485831 - 08/02/05 04:46 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I have my comp hooked up to the TV with the S Video out plug...

It works on the TV during boot, before windows starts, then it goes blank and Windows doesn't show up on the TV.  What am I doing wrong here

Probably something you've already tried but....

if you're using a laptop you can usually select the output source (e.g. press the "function key" plus the little CRT/LCD)...other than that try some different outputs.

No, I had to go through display properties and mess around with what the 2nd moniter would display, so I just made the TV my primary for the movie.  My TV had shit resolution, (great for DIVX, shitty for web surfing)  so I moved it back upstairs

Which is how you change video driver settings.

> and mess around with what the 2nd moniter would display

Which is actually changing the video driver settings.
