Ok, So i am making my Wal-Mart trip at 6 today, and im going over my checklist one more time. Right now I have no supplies, so this is starting from scratch. (Spores and Jars in the mail on their way)Im using the Average mans terrarium, i think
-Rubbermaid (52quarts or larger, clear w/ clear lid -Perlite/hydrotone (for humidity) -airpump (for 60 gallon aquarium and up) -(2) airstones or bubble wands -tubing for airpump
Do i have everything that i need for my grow besides spores and pf jars? Thanks

yeah a gague would be nice but I dont have one and seem to be doing well without it. DId you buy PF jars or are you making your own substrate? If making your own dont forget to get brown rice flower and vermiculite that would be important =) but looking at you list you probably ordered from pfjars.com or some other pre-prepaired substarte jar company.

get one of those indoor/outdoor therm/hygroms because they have a long probe on them which will be usefull. Plus you can take the temp of your TIT and your Fruiting chamber without moving.

oh yeah in conclusion your list looks fine to me =) - except for the hydroton i had some on hand from a hryo grow i did but i know from experience this is a bitch to find in stores. Arround here anyhow. Where are you going to incubate the jars? I keep mine in a shoe box with a towell arround the jars and you can come up with something creative for heat most say put on top of your water hearder or fridge. I have a grow light hitting the outside of the box.

the probe he was talking about comes with the hygrometer you should be buying. I have had problems with other gagues not reading above 80% humidity. The wal-mart close to where I live did not have good gague, so I went to Home Depot.
other item you should be buying are:
Oust air sanitizer (lysol doesnt kill contams in the air) Lysol (make sure you wipe where u spray) Rubber gloves Paper towels Dust mask (so your not breathing on the cakes. used more for when I fruit the cakes than innoc.)
and you should be good

actually, i was thinking i would just stick them in a drawer. Is it completely neccisary to have a incubation chamber? Will it be ok without one?

that probe he was talkin about is on some gagues so u can stick the probe in the camber to check levels rather than the gague itself.

Well just use that shoe box tek i was sayin that should work but a shoe box only holds 6 jars. If you are doing a bulk gro a pro chamber would be good.

Well wrap in a towel and then put in a shoe box and find some way to heat it. Your jars need to be kept at 80-85 degrees.

ok, thanks. I think i might just put in a shoebox and put on the window seal. Its about 100F outside. Whats the point of the towel, just so the jars dont hit and break??

The towel is just to help keep the heat in the box. And also in my mind creates more of an area contams would have to travel to get to my jars =) no scientific evidence to back that up tho.

Wow thanks, your answering all my questions, quite handy! Is there a way to give karma here like on OG? is that what the shrooms on top of the avy are?
do you crumble right after you are done dunking, or do you wait for them to dry out?
Also, after the first flush, I have to pick off anything and everything that grew on the mycellium? Then dunk and go at it again? How will the cake know to stop growing shrooms/pins?
