Hello, I was searching google today and came across the shroomery. Ive been cultivating for quite sometime and I though I would share my cultivating with everyone. Ive been doing quarts of rye using a TIT incubator. I have a martha set up too. Ive been having to borrow my good friends pressure cooker but that isn't going to work for me anymore, Im going to have to buy one. But anyways I just want to trade cultivating information and techniques

Cool, nice to have you around.
I'm curious, where did you learn to do the rye jars and other cultivation? another site, or did somone teach you?
Welcome to the shroomery man.

Cool.
There is so damned much info on here it is addictive. Not just shrooms either. There is a huge community here.
Have you spawned rye or WBS to horse poo yet? That is the way to go.

hmmm, not a fan of more potent, bigger, more per flush shroomies?
oh well, to each his own I guess.
Poo doesn't stink either. You can get it pre-pasturized from a site sponsor (Tennessee Stud Substrates) and it is just ready to spawn to. If you don't mind the smell of dirt, then the poo won't bother you at all. I'ts not like the cow poop you hunt on.

welcome home man! i'm fairly new as well and found this place to be the home i've been looking for... there are some really great people here... and the combined knowledge is awesome! truly any and every problem can be somlved by making a simple post or some searching.
i felt the same about poo at first, but the good, wheathered poo has a very fresh, earthy smell and works great! retains lots of moisture and has lots of nutes!
welcome again!! d

Like clutch said, get some tennstud make sure you let him know you are a member now, he will definitely hook you up. I was slightly skeptical at first but the poo just smells earthy like real nice potting soil. The mycelium loves it and it will send you on a wonderful journey if you are kind enough to bless it with some tennstud to feed on .
Good luck and welcome to the community.

You probably went into the OTD (Off Topic Discussion) forum. There is a whole group of guys in there that just love to screw with people and hand out shitty ratings. It's best to stay out of that forum unless you are a glutton for punishment.
