I call it the "wind-swept trendal on a bike" look:

Stylish. How you doing man? Thanks for that package, I'm gonna get baked and watch one tonight!

Not too bad! Much better now that I'm home from work and packing a bowl
I think you'll enjoy the flicks, man! I just watched NAQOYQATSI again last night!
Let me know which one is your favorite, after you've seen all three!

I definitely will. I love Philip Glass so much and I've had the soundtracks for a long time, can't wait to see the visuals.

Probably my favorite scene in the series is the final scene in Koyaanisqatsi. I don't know what the name of the music he set the scene to, but it is PERFECT for the imagery. Just the same sad riff played over as the wreckage from a failed rocket launch slowly falls into the ocean.
But I'll let you derive your own meaning from it all

What's the series - Life as Nature, life as Technology, Life as War? or did I put them in the wrong order? War, then technology?

It was made in the order:
Koyaanisqatsi -> Powaqqatsi -> Naqoyqatsi
The actual names translate roughly to:
"Life out of Balance", "Life in Transformation", and "Life as War"

I guess the first two do have to do with nature vs. technology.
Koyaanisqatsi (life out of balance) appears to be mostly about the Western world and its life-support system of technology.
Powaqqatsi (life in transformation) is all about the third-world, natives, and life as it used to be for humans before we built this technological life-support network around us.
Naqoyqatsi definitely has the most surreal imagery in the series, and is quite a bit different from the previous two. I think it's supposed to illustrate the transition from "nature" to "technology".

I haven't tried tripping to them yet, though I can see them being quite depressing for a trip if you don't keep the right state of mind...there's no dialogue at all to pay attention to, just a series of images and videos put to a soundtrack. Some of the imagery is fairly blatant in its expression of the evils of technology and the modern world.
They're good "thinking" films, and certainly good when stoned on a little pot

No though I had a chance to download that flick (Chronos) a month or so ago, and now am kicking myself for not doing so

Nothing special, it's a Schwinn 240-FSA.
Just got it a few weeks ago. I wanted to start riding to work instead of taking the bus every day

Sounds like a nice bike man.
I was blown out of the water by Baraka, and ever since then have wanted to see those three films

The do is alright, but I'm still freaked about that tie you were wearing the other day... Yikes!
