Possible Panaeolus Foenisecii
    #4468530 - 07/29/05 10:34 AM (18 years, 7 months ago)

Since it doesn't bruise blue my guess is Panaeolus Foenisecii.

Cap is about 10-20mm

Stem is 30-60mm long and 1-3mm thick

I hope the pics will do for the other specs of the mushrooms..

Its next to a fresh water lake, central Netherlands.

Its growing on grass/clover/mowed grass depris, no dung (only dog poo)

Spore print will be posted soon but looks black now, weather has been very wet last week with some warmer days last few days.

Those stems look to be very Foenisecish. Subbalteatus will only rarely bruise blue, and usually it's near the mysheliyum.

If you had a picture of the gills I'd be able to confirm it. Also, a Foen spore print may look black to the untrained eye. You must look very closely.

The patch is about 100 feet from my house so can get more if I need them.

When I have the print I will make a picture with a Pan. Tropicalis print next to it.

I have picked mushrooms looking xaktly that way, and fits the description exactly. just that when I asked for ID I got the answer that it was poisonous and non active. but when I google it it says it is hallucinogenic.

Maybe you should not google so much.

Panaeolina foenisecii is neither poisonous nor psychoactive (hallucinogenic).

could be a sub if the print comes out JET black leave it over night for a good nice n dark print to make sure , looks alot like a sub the thinner stems i believe to be because of the lack in nutrients in normal soil growing in yards , as they grow alot thicker stems in hay or grass clippings also in horse pastures .
