I'm a new grower and I am going to be using the PF tek and was wondering how many cakes go into a 10 gallon aquarium I'm looking to do about 20 cakes how many can I fit into one aquarium because I see how you have to do the plexiglass, thanks in advance .

Well.. if you use half pint jars, then id say about 5-10. You may want to leave some room in between the cakes so they can get a full flush. I leave about 7 per aquarium. the more cakes you have in there, the more air exchanges you will have to do. Good luck!

Thanks for replying. Another question, on my first grow what can I expect dry weight from each cake? I'm not in it for the money it's just around here there is no shrooms and I'm mostly just looking to have a good supply for myself and friends so what can I expect from each one even though I'm aware its preety unpredictable.

I was also looking to leave atleast 1-2 inches inbetween each cake so that can get full flushes and not touch the other cakes.

cut em in half lengthwise (hot dog style, not hamburger stylee), and lay them flat side by side so they cover up the whole bottom of the terrarium, maybe leaving like a cm between cakes. then sprinkle a bunch of clean moist vermiculite and cococoir over them. i like doing is small terrariums cause i can fill em up and it creates a casing-like forest when it fruits. i got the idea from someone else on this site a while ago. i likes it
