Who else trips like this?

Maybe it's just me, or is it a characteristic of 'shrooms . .
My last three shroom trips, over a 2 month time span (after not tripping at all for 10 years) have been like this.
The first couple of hours, I felt an increasing feeling of tension. . . while mentally facing whatever is not 100% right in my life.
Then, after making internal resolutions to fix those issues, I settled into a more spiritual bliss experience for the slow ride down from the peak.
Pre-peak anxiety, post-peak bliss.
Is it me or the shrooms? This has been several times in a row. Any tips for reducing the pre-peak stress?

i would say smoke some bud.... it helps me. some people say that it stresses them out worse, but anything is worth a try. good luck!

yes but usually if I am going to end up good-trippin then all of my anxiety will leave by t+1:00 to t+1:30

i can tell usually if my entire trip is going to go bad, or whether it is going to go good, but usually, when i feel it going good, its almost impossible to stray from the happiness :smile:

Yea, same here, I can basicly tell withi the first 10 or 20 minutes [as I'm going up] if things are going good or not. so it's either yes, or no. and if theyr'e not it can still me like a mediocre trip, but the good ones you cna lways tell. it seems to me that a good trip takes lot of work though, planning ahead.

Somehow, actualization of some sort is always part of the trip for me. I always enjoy myself on higher doses (i.e. 3.5 gram dry is plenty -- believe me). Visuals are good, auditory experiences are too. But at these doses, it's either:

1. Whoa, I'm pretty lit over here.
2. How long will this go on?
3. I'm never eating this much again.

But those feelings are all part of a good trip for me. Those feelings don't make me lose my shit (never have). But I think self-evaluation is part of the whole experience. At higher doses, sharing ideas with others can be tough. So you keep them to yourself.

Just one man's opinion.

If you want tons of fun, try eating 1.5 dry grams, a bunch of well-made pot brownies, and then smoke joints throughout the evening. Good stuff.

Unfortunately, THC doesn't go well with my personal chemistry- usually makes me a bit paranoid, so I need another calmer.
