My first grow (good signs after 2 days?)

I just started my grow about 2 days ago (Lipa Yai). I couldn't find any vermiculite at the time so I used a mixture of sphagnum peat moss and perlite mixed in with BRF. I plan on making a total of 12 jars - luckily only used 3 jars for this batch. I say luckily because the mixture I used doesn't seem as viable as the traditional verm/BRF. I finally found some Verm yesterday at Lowes, so I'm excited to start off the rest of the jars tonight in a more traditonal manner - couldn't find Verm at any other store, including Walmart/Home Depot x2 /Target, and a number of local stores.
However, I wanted to make this thread for two reasons:
One was because I wanted to make sure this was in fact mycelium growth in one of my jars after only 2 days of incubation. The other 2 jars don't show any signs, however this third one is showing very hopeful signs of growth. I've read that any growth before 4 days, you should be wary about since it could just be contamination. However, this is very white and looks like mycelium... *crossing fingers*

Secondly, I wanted to ask how I should treat the three cakes when they are [hopefully] fully colonized. I was planning on turning them into a casing and adding the appropriate amount of pH buffering via oyster shells/lime so I don't have to worry about the moss making it too acidic for it to fruit. I didn't add any sort of buffering for the cakes, so I'm really hoping they make it through and become fully colonized so I can add some into the casing.
Any comments/critique/pats on the shoulder would be welcomed - this is my first ever grow after a few weeks worth of research through this site, and a few others. Also, is there an area for grow logs, or can I just keep posting here when I come to various stages of significant growth?
Ooh.. one more thing - I accidentally used a bit too many CCs of spore liquid when innoculating my first jar - which may in fact be the reason for the fast growth. I got a 10cc syringe and wanted to grow 12 jars - coming out to about .8 ccs per jar (.2 ccs for each of the four holes in the jars). I used about .5ccs too many in the first jar, so is there anyway I can use less CCs in a few of the other jars to make up for it?

It came out cloudy like that after I boiled it - I figured it would just be condensation around the inside of the glass. I've seen pictures of cobweb, and it really doesn't look a lot like it since this is all around the glass. I dont think cobweb happens that rapidly over just two days.. or even right after it comes out of the boiling pot.
I was more worried about that ropey/threaded growth right in the middle of the jar.

Watch it closely. It looks like mine do right before they start to stink. I tried lots of different substrates, and had failures with almost everything but WBS. I haven't tried PF Tek yet. Though I made a feeble attempt of one jar, using dark rye flour and perlite. It's colonizing in a thick mat on top... lol If it contams, don't get upset. Like you said, luckily you didn't put all your eggs in one batch...sket Good luck friend, and keep us posted (no pun intended) Update yer pics often and you'll get lots of help along the way!

Hmm... I did notice a lot of water on the lid after I pulled it out of the boiling pot the next morning. This was water which was under the layer of protective aluminum foil. Damn.
I'll keep watching it. Time to start with the next batch.
