I have read all the location guides on this site and even done google searches, but all of them have turned up 0 for actives growing in Iowa naturally. Do they grow naturally here, or are only in home labs?

Hmmm, i hope i can get to a pasture, yet i could just spread manure in a spot in my yard and hope they grow,

spreading manure wont help if there are no spores in the air. If you find an area with mushies growing you might have some luck.
