So is this a contam, or is it just bruising? The cakes themselves really havent put off any mushrooms, and they should have...What should i do? Also to note...we did go through a heat wave and the temps inside 82 degrees...Whatcha think?
It looks like you didnt dunk and roll ... read up about it in the teks and also while dunking put them in the fridge if possible or even just in a cold place in cold water ... this will shock them into pinning and speed the whole thing up and give you bigger mushies
Oh and when you were taking your cakes out did you have to whack the jars upside down to get them out? if so this would explain the high percentage of bruising
here is how you are going to tell. take a q-tip and gently wipe it on the blue areas, if something comes off then it is a contam, if nothing then it is just bruising. let us know what happens, this is very strange looking to me. peace
