I have zero first hand experiance with these pnw mushroom species, but I'd say they look more like azurescens than cyans, but obviously azures don't grow in washington, or grass :) Ps. cyans do show up quite commonly in grass where there are buried woodchips close by. I suppose they could very well be cyans, growing in short grass fully exposes the mushrooms to the weathers harsh conditions, can make for some different looking fruits, usually shorter and lighter in color, and in my experiance less bruising(atleast this is true with Ps. weilii) Maybe a PNW native can jump in here and give a better opinion? Nice pic BTW :) LK,

Lizard is right, cyans do and quiet frequently can be found growing on grass, most of the time the grass is within close proximity to hardwood chips/mulch. I cant give a specific ID for you mushrooms but i can tell you that they are not psilocbyes. What area where those found in?

What color was the spore print? Can you get a picture of the gills close-up? They may be a type of Gymnopolis, can't tell from that far away...also how did they smell? and what color was the flesh? Need to know, maybe I can help you out. On another note...they may very well be lawn Galerinas...really need to see the underside and stems. Cheers St Thomas

If you had a picture of the gills and stem, we could tell you for sure whether they're the goodies or not.
