I did it, it was stupid perhaps. But I had the proper equipment to stay safe. I took some of my contaminated cakes and seperated the mold growth from the rest of the cake. I won;t go into the entire procedure but it was ALOT harder than it sounds. And just like many of you that will see this thread I remain a skeptic. However, we will see.  :crazy2:

You have to be REAL careful with that. The mold spores can spread during the process of cutting them off of the cakes and contaminate future grows. It's better to just toss them, but I'm sure you already know that. Clean whatever area that you used to cut the mold off and Lysol the hell out of it to help avoid future problems to your shrooms and possibly your health. I just plant them outside. had some mushrooms grow once.
