Experimental mixing ?

Ok, my boss has some treaure coast growing under his desk, the yields were kinda low, but he knows why now. They are on cakes. He also has some PR's in jars colonizing. He wants to case the pr's when ready but what if the old tc cakes, still very active, were cut or crumpled up with the crumpled PR cakes and grew that way? Would that mess things up, like the network? Since the tc didnt yield a lot, but the pr's will (more control over colonizing conditions) would that lower the yield? Or would it not work? Have you guys done this, or is this a dumb question? Please anything to break the confusion!

Oh, also what kinda casing would work best for these, keep in mind i'm kinda new, but I have enough smarts and sense to do hard stuff.

Never mix strains! they will just compete, and if you're lucky, the dominant one will fruit, but the other will continue to suck up nutrients.

As for casing, try coco fiber or 50/50 with lime(raises ph to fend off contams, 4:1 casing to lime ratio)
