I read some of the older threads (yeah...like 2-3 year old ones) and this newbie posted a picture of a Cortinarius rubellus. One of the most poisonous mushrooms in europe. And I know my mushrooms!.. but everyone (about 8-9 posts) said: hahaha yeah try and eat em!" they look fun to me!.. every single post but one was like that.. the only one that told this newbie it was a cortinarius rubellus never said it was deadly, and contains corellanin which damages both liver and especially kidneys. Very common in Norway. Grows in moss. Too bad I can't find the post, cuz I just randomly searched, but still. Bet this guys is off this board.
No bollocking towards the experienced once here (or even this webpage, which is the best since sliced bread...or something), cuz I know none of them posted. Only people with less than 50 posts. And being desperate for a mushroom trip when you're a newbie can be highly dangerous
