Hello and welcome.
First off,Patience is key to finding actives.Don't get discouraged. The first field you search may produce or it could be the 1000th field you search.Check this site for which mushrooms grow in your area and what conditions they grow in.
And remember the mushrooms find you when you are ready.Just keep looking, the longer it takes the more rewarding it is when u find them.

Cheers..

seriously....it took me 3 month's of searching shit before i found a cube. just keep looking.make sure its been a day or two after some heavy rain and if you find a spot that looks really nice for the mushrooms you are looking for...then keep checking it out..ive been to a field and spotted nothing...went the next day..nothing..i went with a friend and on the way back to the car i saw a single cubensis...next thing you know..we are finding little villages of them in the tall grass.

oh and dont half ass a search...when you go hunting...hunt those bitches down
