Cacti Issues

I planted some Peruvian Torch and San Pedro a little while ago and so far the Peruvian germination rate is 50% and the San Pedro 100% but most of them are sprouting with some white fuzzy stuff at the base. This mold or whatever seems to disapear after a while, will they be alright?

they are root hairs, very fragile

don't let the surface dry out and they will eventually find their way

In cactus potting soil in a aluminum container with a transparent plastic lid, the soil was way to soggy after my initial watering but after a few days without the plastic it dried out a little. I put the seeds on top of the soil in rows and in a week I had some sprouting. Now I have like 25 of 36 up. And it's only been week and a half.

Any idea's on temps? I have some seeds i want to start and have read alot of methods, and some require some very specific temps, but i want to know what is a realistic margin.
