    #4466459 - 07/28/05 11:23 PM (12 years, 4 months ago)

Frist all i'd like to say that i have read for months now on how to do all this and like to say thanks for all the help and great reading you all gave me!!!!still scared tho...lol
I frist took my closet(5*8 big)and wraped it with 6mil roll of plastic.I cut and made a velcro door,I then cleaned it with 91% isopropyl alcohol and then wiped it up,then sparyed the hell of of it with lysol and wiped it up.Then cleaned my boxes, heater, coreds, everything that went in there inclueding myself and the room leading to the closit like there wasnt going to be a tomorrow befor putting them in there.I then soaked my wbs for 14 hours and simmered(soft simmering) for like 30min.Placing tyvek filter material on jar then placing lid on and dilling 2 3/8 holes and coffer filter on top then pcing them for 75min at 15psi.and taking the pc into the clean room befor pussure was released letting it cool to room temp, then spraying with lysol and cleaning like hell befor opening (with mask & gloves on)and then shooting them with 1-1 1/2cc of spores, puting them in my chambers at 87 degs.Does this sound right so far?Did I miss anything along the way?Any input would be very much apreshated
Thanks Guys and Gals

Wow, now that's extreme dude.

You transformed your closet into a clean room just to cool and inoculate your jars to incubate?

:cuckoo: :rofl2: :handth:

j/k

I assume you are using it to fruit in?

How far along are the jars?  I like to keep mine a little cooler.  Like ~83

dont need to open often for incubation, each time you check them should be sufficient
