I have decided to fast and "detoxify" myself this weekend. it is no arguing that certain foods can effect you both physically and mentally. a bad diet can lead to lots of problems, so i am trying to break myself of my current god awful diet. to give you an ideal of a daily set of meals... i dint eat breakfast foods. in the morning i will either have 5 rolled tacos from the mex place or some pre-made sandwiches from 7-11. i always have an energy drink. usually a sobe or a monster or a clone. if not an energy drink a will have a liter of coke. after that i will eat a whole bag of beef jerky or sugar wafers, candy bars, or something like that.. sometimes washed sown with a pepsi. at lunch it's various fast foods or carne asada fries from the mexican place. my dinner is much the same minus the energy drinks. and of course there are 2 more snack times through out the day.
i want to break my awful diet and eat right, so i plan to start by fasting. what is the preferred way (by others) to fast. i have only fasted when shrooming later so there was nothing to make me feel sick later. i figured i would start by eating only rice and drinking water for the weekend. maybe i will be sick of it by the end of the weekend. starting Monday i want to break my fast and drink smoothies form fresh fruits and such in the morning and have a salad for lunch, and then something home made for my evening meal. would rice and water be a good fasting option? i know that fasting means not eating, but i read that it could also be eating a minimum of things.. like rice and water only... does anyone know about this????? i want to get my body clean so my mind can be cleared. i think that my current diet has a negative effect on me mentally and physically.. any suggestions or experiences would be much appreciated.
