is it possible for a cake to get too much light for pinning? my horse's cow has 4 cakes and only one of them is pinning, but it is on the side that doesn't get as much light. the strain is p.c. thai pink buffalo i got them from lil shop of spores.

There is no such thing as too much light. Understand that the mushroom only need light to initilize pinning and for a sense of directy. It provides no energy to them and will not stimulite better growth. Several minutes of light a day is good.
