hi folks! i've been walking down the pastures and i think i found mimosa hostilis but i still need some help... any help. pictures, links, comments, anything...
btw, nice new icons and smilies!

Where are you? M. hostilis = M. tenuiflora loves really warm weather, so if you are looking in a part of the world with temperate climate, it is mostly not a hostilis. I don't have a photo right now. Maybe I can get one later...

im in brasil, its hotter than hell down here... there are so many mimosaoidae trees down here, one should be m. hostilis... just wanna find which one. m. verrucosa would be nice to find also... i cant find any decent pics on the net... if you could get me that pic! mimosa pics on the net are all plants of the gods drawings! i think im going to the library tomorrow... thanks elektro!

I'm sorry I didn't find a picture that was suitable. Mostly only drawings from branches or such.

thanks for the help elektro! i have seen this pics while searching the web, great pics, great site. poor english, though. that flowering tree looks equal to my suspected m.h.. and that purplish root seems quite characteristic... im going down the pastures and cut some roots to check it out... i think im lucky! =D
