I was born with a high tolerance to chemicals. It usually takes a double dose of any kind of pain killer to get rid of a headache (Tylenol, Advil, etc). When tripping on LSD it seems I need 3-4 tabs of the stuff we have around here to get a mild-intense 8-12 hour trip. My question is: If I take a quarter of mushrooms will my trip be more intense or will it just last longer? I've taken up to an eighth before, never went beyond that so I'm curious if it will affect the intensity or the duration.

i feel you pain. i have that same kind of born tolerance. once i went to a rave, dropped a tab when i got there, it didn't kick in till 4 hours later when i left. thank god for after parties.

It effects MOSTLY intensity. Duration is only extended a little bit, but the shroom trip usually lasts 4-6 hours, no matter the dosage. You take more, it gets harder though...a quarter is one HEAFTY ass trip, for those of us with normal-low tolerances...but keep in mind, when you start harvesting your poo shrooms, try out a lower dosage first (3.5 at most, 2 if not feeling adventurous) because they will likly be more potent then shrooms you have had before.

I seem to be the same way. Most of the people I am around have tripped for years but I have only tripped for alittle less than a year. They are big guys (6'+)and I a small female(5'3 120lbs) and half to eat twice as many shrooms as the guys. My husband is amazed at my tolerance. My suggestion if find a comfortable dose and then dose again abou 2-3 hrs later. That will help with intensity and duration.

with mine i just really have to dose hard. the odd thing is i can't even seem to hit level 5. i'll eat shrooms till i get sick and only peak at level 4. the last time i tripped i saw my dresser drawers going in and out all the way but no "pure" halucination (i.e. little greem men)

Well it's good to know there's others lol. Wow...poo makes them that potent? I thought most street shrooms were grown in poo but I'll have to give these a try. I'm getting so eager

Yeah i also have a high natural tolerance to what seems like most drugs. I've taken three white unperfed doses of lucy and only got mild visuals in wood grain. My friend took three of the same doses and tripped so hard he couldn't talk. In fact the other night i ate 4 grams of mushies and the two friends who both ate an eight each. I was maxed out at a level 2 and they were more along the lines of level 3 and psilocyan reached something along the lines of a level 4 after smokin some herb. Yeah tolerance kinda sucks.

i took 5 grams once and tripped for 12 hours, but i smoked a lot of pot.
i took 6 to 6 and a half grams recently and probably tripped for 5 hours.
i think you should just smoke a lot of pot and you'll make it last longer. you dont need an insanely high dose to increase duration. i'd try 5 grams next time you trip.
and as for intensity, well, it just goes up with the higher the dose.

I have a high tolerance to most drugs, although shrooms doesn't seem to be one of them!
I advise caution trying a high dose even if you usually have high tolerance to most stuff.
Scenario 1: low/medium dose + high tolerance = no/minimal trip
Scenario 2: very high dose + normal tolerance = seriously fucked
It's always worth taking your time IMO. Build up slowly.
How does 1/8 effect you?

Sorry to say I had my run with coke but not for long, after seeing how incredibly addicting it was I FORCED myself to stop before I ended up selling a kidney lol. Definitely a mean drug not even worth trying.
