It was made for 3.x/95

What's Myst 4000?

There was a 10th anualversity DVD with Myst, Riven, and the 3rd one on one disc, but it's for Mac OS, Windows XP / 98.

I wonder if it would run on Win2K if it were setup with Fat32 instead of NTFS.

run it in compatibility mode

if you have hyperthreading you may have to not use both 'processors' while running the game

Shit, I have sp4, and all the updates. I had to, I was getting pounded by the sasser worm 1-2 times a minute.

My firewall blocked nearly 500 intrusions before I got all my shit updated enough that the stupid popups finally decided to fuck off.

So I should be able to run any of these discs, particularly the 10th anniversity one?

Man, that game was compelling, it was so satisfying to finish. I had riven at once point, but I never got particularly far. I'd like to try that out again.

Yesh, My roomate's brother is staying with us right now. He's going through a painful divorce, and is under alot of stress right now.

Playing video games really helps relax him. Right now he's playing Splinter cell .

I think Myst would have even better healing powers.

I'm being cheap. I want to determine if the disc will work before I buy it.

If I had the disc I would just slap it in my comp and see what happens. It would be easier than all this here typing.

If its the original Myst, it needs 256 colors. The file system doesn't matter. Myst was the only PC game that hooked me totally.
