I only like Jungle for the most part, personally. I'm no expert on DJs. The only two guys that I have CDs of are Diesel Boy and DJ Dara.

I'm not THAT old school.... I went to parties from 1996 until 2003. That's when I started to HATE the scene so much that I decided to never go back. I love the music, so I got my own decks, and play for myself and never go out to any parties.

Oh yeah, I was pretty close to Philly.... about 90 minutes north, in the Poconos. I was right in between Philly and NYC so I hit a lot of parties in both cities.

ah, 96, twas a good year. Thats when they started the flight parties at the troc. Good stuff indeed, wink was tearing shit up and king britt, nigel, circle kids were all getting their shit together. I def miss the old times, back when parties were actually fun instead of the pop bullshit its become today. I havent been to "rave" in a long time, probably about 4 years now. My production company back east still throws a party now and then, but nothing to big. Im with you man, i just stick to spinning records in my bedroom. I have more fun with that anyways

dont mention whistle unless you're talking about the first 2. Local 13 used to be such a great production crew, i worked for deech for about 2 years. The fruit parties, bang, man, he knew how to hook it up. Ever since whistle 3 however.... :sigh: i miss the good ol days...

Dude, I used to LOVE Local 13 parties. I went to the first 2 whistles, April Foolz 2, Bang 2 & 3, Techno Nation, and some of the fruit parties. I used to go to a lot of NY production company parties too; Stuck On Earth, Smoove Groove, Sympty, etc....
I once met and interviewed DieselBoy in his apartment in Philly. It was right before he released "The Dungeon Master's Guide", so I got a whole bunch of free promo stuff.
The last time I heard DSL spin was at Fluids last year. I miss the east coast party scene, but I would never go back. It sucks too much anymore.
There are kids here, like 40 oz., who started going to parties like 2 years ago, and think they know what's what, and I laugh at that bullshit. It's cool to see a real head on the boards.
