Hello all just wondering I finally got some to do something but not sure if its cobweb mold or not. Does myc start fuzzy in any way? I have one thats about the size of a large coin thats real thick white fuzz , and some with spots that are pin size fuzzy is this good ?

In grains Myc always looks a little fuzzy to me unless it is smashed up against the glass. If it is white I would ride it out. You will know if it is cobweb if it is fully colonized in the next few days (i think).

OK I looked again today and it has only traveled a little bit. So if what you say and I have read if it is cobweb it would be a grayish color and would be spreading like wild fire. So I'm thinking I'm good to go it is white its just a little stringy looking thats all.

If the fuzzyness is at the base of the shrooms and growing up the stalks it is likly just mych, try decreasing the humidity. I had this problem before and after decreasing the humidity the fuzz receded back down to the base of the stalks.

To answer your question properly you need to tell us a little more about the grow specifics... What stage are you at? Are you talking about mych in a jar, a cake, a casing, on a growing mushroom, etc... Each of these situations will influence the answer.
