cheap humidity

I am at the point right now were I cant even afford gas money to get to the store let alone buy a humidity guage. I want to know if I can tell if I have enough humidity for fruiting by looking at the moisture on the glass sides of my aquarium. Is there any guage for this Drips are _% Mist is _% etc.
