i have a few probs. one is i dont think i can keep humidity up, but my terrium seems air tight. there is condinsation on the plastic tarp type shit but no water droplets. and my shrooms always take along time to grow. like i see a pic a day later and there alot bigger. mine look the same for a few days and dont really grow much at all. what can i do?

Try to be more specific regarding your set up. It's hard to say what is happening because you didn't give very good details. "Plastic tarp type shit"????

i have a rubbermaid container that has a plastic sheet streched over the top. there is no water droplets on it, just a condensation look like a really cold can of beer or pop. i just took the plastic off and glued the lid on and cut a hole and but sum saran wrap over it. i'll respond back in a few hours to se if thats werkin any better, but with my luck i doubt it...

What do you use for humidity? Perlite keaps my 10 gallon aquarium at 95+ easily.

I'm using perlite humidification in a pretty small terrarium. At first I didnt notice any condensation on the walls untill I ran my fingers over it. I gave it a nice spray with the spray bottle and it left a nice covering of dense water droplets. They have stayed there throught my fruiting stage (2 weeks) so I tend to believe my humidity levels is just fine. Normally if your perlite is wet (enough) then you will have humidity of 92%+ in a sealed container. It doesnt even have to be completly air tight.
