I give you photos of a place that I think I found Phalaris .
A close-up from leafs.
The tops from the two plants that exist in this place. I gathered leafs from the plant that has a top like a hot-dog.
Any help if this is Phalaris ?

here is a site for phalaris: http://nepenthes.lycaeum.org/Plants/Phalaris/arundinacea.html
the hot dog thing as you call it is the seed head for cattails.

I took leaves from the wrong plant. I liked it 'couse it looks like penis. Hehe
The second top must be Phalaris arundinacea. Next time I will get leaves from that one. But I need someone to tell me exactly if this is phalaris or not. You can easily identify it as a phalaris eaven if it's not.

I dont think that the one with the "hot dog" top is phalaris ,it would be to easy to ID if it was! Maybe the other one is...

Isnt there som easy DMT extraction methods you can take on Phalaris arundinacea which you can perform in your own kitchen with just some supplies from the hardware store?

Yes,there are many easy extractions for obtaining a variety of alkaloids.
The rumored problems with phalaris is
a)Low concentration (we seem to have only refferences of "it didnt work" in Erowid or Lyceaum but nothing more)
b)Presence of undesired alkaloids such as gramine
c)The tryptamine content being mostly 5-MEO-DMT
I really dont know if they hold true, the whole community seems to have forgotten of this plant and its such a shame...TO tell you the truth i havent seen much experimentation with it ,if any.

Well... I found it:
How to extract DMT from Phallaris Grass
But this site describes prepaeration of DMT for oral ingestion. I'm curious about the smoking-DMT... but I guess this is purely achieved through synthetic means.

Oh,thats not the case! Many use an acid/base extraction to receive DMT from sources like Desmanthus or Mimosa Hostilis. Look at vovin's method.
Lemme help you out a bit.
Check here : http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...rue#Post3089603
Unfortunately vovin seems to have taken his method down but im sure you will find it around.Just look for DMT extraction pictorial with google or shroomery search engine

I found a variation of arundinacea, it is called P. arundinacea picta. It has yellow stripes like the ones in Arundo donax.
I hope being lucky this time.

This variation could contain alkaloids if indeed you identified it properly! Have a go at it!
