Found this on totse.com
I can't figure out what their talking about in regards to straining and how to make it. I admit I'm ignorant and I've never made tea before but I'm going to give this a shot tonight since I can't get into the bars. Appreciate your helps and thoughts.
Thanks __________________________________________________________________ Thujone, a chemical related to THC, is found in the herb WORMWOOD. Thujone gives a heavy, sedated buzz and mild-shroom-like visuals. Here is a simple recipe for Wormwood Tea:
2 tablespoon wormwood
2 tablespoon mint
1 teaspoon fennel
Put in a strainer and let steep for 3 minutes. Add honey. Drink and get ready to trip balls.

Cool
I apologize for posting two similar threads in two different forums but I think it should be okay because their asking two different questions. Also, I got about a hour before stores start closing and I'm desperate.

What don't you understand? Put it in water, steep for a few minutes, then strain it out with a coffee filter or something.

I dunno, a cup? Maybe a little less. Depends on how much you want to drink, I hear the stuff tastes absolutely horrid.

Usually it's made with alcohol. I've never heard of a tea before.

Unmixed absinthe tastes like anti freeze. I've never had the patience, or the pretty spoon, to do it the long way.

dude.... if you want the proper way to do absinthe...
you need to louge it by adding water to the distilled wormwood (you can ferment it as well). adding sugar helps also.
a shot of absinthe to a shot of water minimum to achieve the desired effet (which is the absinthe turning a milky green).
lougeing releases the essential oils of thujone making the liquid milky and deliscious.
=
put spoons with holes in it across the glass.
place sugar cube on spoon.
poor shot of absinthe over the sugar into glass.
set cube on fire.
let it melt nice and good.
poor water over cube to put out fire and louge.
put sugar lump in water and mix with spoon.
drink up.
dance with the green fairy.
(by the way, hallucinations are quite rare on this substance, just an increased brain activity causeing creative bursts and inspiration on things of artisit nature.)
im stoned, but its the truth.

Absinthe's pretty shite really. It's legal here in the UK but to be pretty honest, it doesn't do much at all apart from get you drunk which is no surprise really due to it being so high in alcohol!

Okay so I have a ounce of wormwood extract, a bottle of fennel seeds, and some fresh leafy mint...
Now what?
I'll report back with effects.
Side note... goddamn health food stores and the people in general weird. Nice people, but fucking weird. There was a ad on the wall of a hippie looking guy kissing a cow and the ad said something like "We really care about organics"

WTF?
Well first of all, the recipe you posted asked for 2 tablespoon of wormwood, it didn't mention anything about wormwood extract.
Looks like your gonna have to roughly judge it, and Thujone can be nasty shit!

So I put two tablespoons of wormwood extract, some mint, and some fennel in a coffee filter and run water over it into a cup for 3 minutes?
