OK, so I went on a one week vacation..... thought my cakes were wiped out, no more left to sprout..... low and behold, i come back, and one of my cakes has a HUGE fucker growing out from underneath the perlite and it's all fat from all the soaked up water. The things got myc allll over it and it's convulted like hell... dark blue up near the cap... Alright, i know that the bigger the mushroom DOES NOT equal better, but is thing safe to eat after it's dried? I practicly left it alone to the CO2 the whole week, plus it's smothered in perlite...
