Tempeture (high to low, back to high...)
    #445659 - 11/03/01 12:13 PM (23 years, 4 months ago)

Well my foafoaf has really done it this time. After 1 month of trying to sustain a nice colonization temp of 80-85% for his casings he has managed to go up, down, back up, down and so on. Well everything has been fine until the last time he patched, now the mycelium is fooled into thinking it's time to pin, when in reality the mycelium is still covered by the top layer. What should he do? Any advice? Should he deep scratch to jumpstart things, or should he wait it out? Should he put them in the terrarium and initiate pinning?

By the way he is using 50/50+. And the spores were Golden Teacher from SporeWorks. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

Well, my friend got impatient and went ahead and deep scratched. He now has both casings in his terrarium. I'll post an update to how he makes out
