Does this story sound odd
    #4454208 - 07/26/05 05:11 AM (11 years, 4 months ago)

A quote from one of the tube train survivors who was sat nearest to the where the bomb went off..

"The policeman said 'mind that hole, that's where the bomb was'. The metal was pushed upwards as if the bomb was underneath the train. They seem to think the bomb was left in a bag, but I don't remember anybody being where the bomb was, or any bag," he said."

If you get a few dozen people and toss them into a chaotic situation, do you really think everyone is going to have clear memories of everything that happened?

This reminds me of that janitor that all of the sudden became a rocket physicist on 9/11.

so any view counter to the official story is automatically bogus? if we can't trust eye witness acounts then what should we trust? grainy security camera pictures of four men walking with back packs?

Eye witness accounts in stressful situations are notoriously inaccurate.

--------------------
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniencies attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas Jefferson

Are there any other civilian accounts of the tube explosion to compare with?

Not that I've read. I don't think anyone else sitting nearest the bombs survived.. probably why there's nobody who actually seems to remember seeing any of the four guys.
