Pan Subb outdoor patch experiment
    #4452956 - 07/26/05 12:28 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I dumped my LC on my patch last night. I put some grass clippings in my lawn beside a tree and i've been watering it for awhile. Has anyone else tried this? Do you think I'll get a flush? Is there anything I can do to hurry it up?

Panaeolus subbalteatus grow on horse manure, and on rotting hay.
at temperatures of 75-80F and 85-92% RH
it may be possible, but IMO they aren't worth the effort.
when i find them growing wild it is a happy day, but you need to eat about 30-40 of them to be even worth picking. :crazy2:

It's been a bit hotter than that but I've been finding subbs on lawns still.

I've been told that there ain't 'nuff nutes in my patch because it's merely just moist grass clippings in a lawn. Should I use bloodmeal to up the nutes? How much should I use?
